Festival listing is free. FestSubmit collects 10% of each successful paid submission, rounded to the nearest cent. Stripe processing fees also apply. Paid categories currently use EUR.
FestSubmit processes submission payments through its Stripe platform account. After Stripe confirms payment and provides the processing fee, FestSubmit retains 10% of the submission amount, deducts the actual Stripe processing fee borne by the organizer, and transfers the remaining proceeds to the organizer’s connected Stripe account. The platform fee is not deducted again at bank payout. For a EUR 20 submission, the platform fee is EUR 2, and the organizer receives EUR 18 minus the actual Stripe processing fee. Refunds and disputes can change the final amounts.
Bank payouts
Once the EUR 50 payout policy is active for an organizer, FestSubmit checks the available EUR balance daily. At EUR 50 or more, the full available balance is requested for bank payout. Smaller balances are settled after the saved festival end date. Funds becoming available later are checked again.
This applies to available funds, not payments still pending settlement. Identity checks, bank setup, refunds, disputes and bank processing can delay payouts. Smaller balances may be released earlier to meet holding limits. The organizer dashboard shows whether the policy is active and the applicable timing. Until activation, the account’s existing Stripe payout schedule applies.
